The following is a bit of alternative fiction based on certain characters from the Xenaverse. It is not meant to infringe on anyone else's rights. If you don't agree or disapprove, please go read something else.
Well, I dunno why I did this one, and I'm not one hundred percent satisfied with it, but I thought you might like *something* to let you know that I've been thinking about the story.
I give to you, Kalai and Arete. Kalai is swift, small and full of verve. Arete is tall, strong and wise.
Kalai, every which way I've drawn her (and I've got one or two more pics, but they're not worth putting up) is easy for me to "capture," on the page, but Arete is more troublesome. I tend to picture her more like Vallejo's models, but my drawings were never meant to be like Boris' so...she doesn't *look* like those lovely muscular women that one see's in his paintings....Yet...yet..If I'm not totally satisfied with how Arete "came out," (mostly because I don't really do portraits anyway..I do spirit...) I do believe I've caught an aspect of her essence (aside from her height). I hope.
