Editor's Note

I have read the chapter. Several times now. Joseph's style continues to be lucid and his characterization happens to be a real strong point in the story. This chapter furthers the plotline and clarifies the nature some of the characters within the text (almost painfully so). It is GRAPHICLY descriptive and HIGHLY HIGHLY disturbing. (I suggest NOT eating during the scene and probably you shouldn't read it before you go to bed. IMHO) However, it is intrinsic to the story and I was able to read it (flinching and wincing and all that, but I did read the chapter and I take responsibility for it) and find something valuable out of it. (It is so subtle, given the situation, that I almost missed it, but. .if what I thought was accurate. .its. .wow...very important) Therefore, the chapter was posted as is, save for all the warnings I made Joseph put on it.

Okay, I admit it, I am easily squicked at Horror movies. I don't know what makes the "difference" in my squick factor, when it comes to these shows, because I've seen several that I've liked and a few that I've had to walk out on or turn off. Maybe it's been that I've seen them all by myself or maybe I just am not into blood and gore for the sake of blood and gore *shrugs*

Anyway, I don't plan on making Joseph post notices at every chapter that has violence in it, however, this one involved gory sex play and I am that much of a horror prude. You may consider this *MY* squick notice.
